The return policy of Merlin Cycles is as follows:

Goods that prove unsuitable may be returned for a refund if they are returned within 30 days from the receipt date. However, exchanges are no longer offered due to fast-moving stock levels. If an alternative item is required in a different size or color, the recommendation is to reorder the item and return the unused item for a refund.

Items that have been worn or fitted to a bike will not be accepted for a refund and will be returned back. The company does not cover or refund postage costs. Goods must be returned unused and in as-sold condition in original packaging. Items need to be wrapped or boxed up. Directly sticking labels or writing on the item or the item's original packaging is not allowed.

Goods returned after 30 days may be accepted, but a credit note voucher will be given instead of a direct refund. This does not affect statutory rights. A copy of the receipt and a covering letter explaining the returned item(s) should be included.

For protection, keeping proof of posting is advised. It is recommended not to use Evri as a return courier, as many customer returns have been lost by Evri. If goods are being returned from outside the EU, on form CN22/CN23, it must state RETURNED GOODS - FAILED SALE, and put ZERO as a value in the package value box. Failure to do so will result in the parcel getting delayed in customs and being returned. FedEx or DHL should not be used as they always apply extra charges.

The company will deal with the return within 3 days of receipt. Replacements are aimed to be dispatched within 5 days of receipt. For refunds, please allow 10 working days for refunds to appear in the account. If the item is being returned for warranty work, please allow extra time for the goods to be inspected. This may involve sending the item to the manufacturers/suppliers for their opinion and for the product to be repaired if required.
